Tuesday, August 16th starting at 6pm

Robert takes us on a tour of the gardens outside the Farm to Table Market for some tips on garden maintenance, harvesting and tastings! We will also be talking about some way to prepare kholrabi!

Robert Patterson will be talking about the taste and flavour that is being harvested throughout the summer and how to maintain the gardens at 11:30 and 1:30. Stop by and learn about the Growing Connection planters and some great info about growing a diverse array of great food anywhere!

We had so many great ideas brought to the table at our information session last week and lots of energy and enthusiasm about moving forward with this project. Join us next week as we welcome ideas about what should be planted this Spring and promote this project!   Open to all volunteers, new volunteers, and anyone interested in helping out in any way with our food growing initiative!!!

‘Greening of Simcoe St’ information session Thursday, April 14th from 5:30-6:30 pm. During the Spring/Summer/Fall we will be working with The Growing Connection on a project to grow fresh veggies, and herbs outside the market.

Chocolate Workshop a Scrumptious Success!

Big thanks you’s to Shelby Worts of Stonetree Naturopathic Clinic and Ann Barnes of Mum’s Original for speaking to us about things consumers should know about buying good quality chocolate, and cooking up a batch of homemade chocolate for everyone to sample!
